The Importance of Regular Health Check-ups
Prevention is always better than cure. Routine check-ups help detect potential health issues early, manage chronic conditions, and keep you on track toward better overall
Hanbury Family Practice is a private billing clinic. Where possible, we process your Medicare rebate on the spot for convenience.
Our service fees are reviewed annually and may increase each year on 1st July. Patients eligible for Medicare benefits are required to pay the full amount upfront, after which the rebate is refunded instantly to your nominated bank account.
Please note, laboratory tests (such as swabs, biopsies, pap smears, and blood tests) are not billed through the clinic. These are handled by external labs, and Medicare or private health insurance generally covers most of these costs.
If you do not have Medicare, there will be out-of-pocket expenses for all laboratory tests. Private health or travel insurance may cover some of these charges.
The cost of vaccines and third-party services may change without prior notice.
All prices include GST.
For corporate clients, payment authorisation must be arranged prior to the appointment. Any unpaid or non-covered costs will be billed directly to the individual.
We offer convenient payment methods for all patients. Please note, cheques are not accepted.
